Manchester City have announced a new partnership with Ubtech Robotics Corp in an attempt to entertain fans at The Etihad
The humanoid robots will be in the Etihad during matches to keep City supporters entertained by singing and performing special moves and tricks.
The club’s aim is to give fans the best matchday experience in the Premier League and this, they hope, will add to that.
The club has unveiled the robots as it announced details of it’s latest plans to provide the best and most innovative match-day experience on the planet.
The robots will help to entertain fans at some home games and will also be featured on LED screens around the ground and on other content shared on the club’s website and through social media.
Manchester City fans can get their hands on their own robot, if the scheme is successful as it is possible that they will sell the characters.
Ubtech are the firm behind ‘Jimu Robot’ and ‘Alpha 1 Robot’ which are able to exercise, do yoga and sing.
