Even with a slow network the Facebook Lite App still helps us have access to the latest happenings on Facebook. Though many think the app is meant for mid-range devices or device with poor specs, but that’s negative from an angle.
Facebook developers played smart again, thereby developing the Facebook LTE messenger due to maybe poor networks in some areas or for small devices with support for only the 2G network.
This is what Facebook said about this App;
We are committed to making Messenger the best, and most reliable way to communicate in the world for *everyone*. That's why I'm thrilled to announce the launch of Messenger Lite. A lightweight, and basic version of Messenger for people, who still own older Android devices (think 2009-2011) that have less available "disk" space, memory, and lower performing CPUs, and that often run on lower bandwidth connections.
Messenger Lite is initially launching in five countries: Kenya, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, and Venezuela, and will expand to more markets after our initial launch phase.
We're excited to bring the network of over one billion active Messenger users to truly everyone starting today!

So for those that still got Network problem especially inside the house like me #lol, this app will be cool for you as it saves battery, consumes less data, and not huge In size .
For now, this app is not available Worldwide but accessible for countries like Kenya, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, and others.
It is expected to reach other regions before the end of this month. Do you like the Lite App from facebook?
